80 The Dr. is in

Everyone who listens to the show knows that Sunshine and Pumpkin like to start every show with a nice tropical cocktail. This show is no different. The drink however is a bit different. Sunshine worked really hard tasting and sampling to make sure that our drink of the week would remind all who imbibe of a sunny getaway complete with the sun block. Well, it worked. Both of our hosts are a bit schnockered this episode. Fear not, the show must go on, just a bit shorter and perhaps a bit slower if you know what we mean. Notice how we haven't mentioned any topics? Thats cause there weren't really any at all Enjoy the shenanigans.

79 Happy Tiki New Year

Before the year comes to an end Sunshine and Pumpkin felt the need to talk politics over a nice cocktail. We're all friends here. Nothing wrong with sharing a bit of booze and some thoughts on the upcoming travesty of a presidential election. Check out the link below to see which candidate you might want to think about voting for. And, its also the end of another year so we give some last minute party tips, including how to make that expensive champagne go a little further. Be sure to have a house drink already made for guests when the arrive to get things STARTED. Pumpkin couldn't end 2007 without one last rant about things that drive her crazy. This time its dogs in stores and rude salespeople. Dont' get in her way, you won't like it. Lastly a big thank you to all of our wonderful listeners. Please be sure to have a safe new year, don't drink and drive and check us out in 2008. Theres lots more shenanigans coming so don't miss out.

But if you can spring for 2 day shipping you just might have a great gift for that very special tikiphile. Be sure to visit Konakai.com for the best in tiki shopping and amusement. Pumpkin is still feeling a little anxious so we give her a little check up. Drink of the Week
Molokai Mike
Bottom Layer
1oz Silver
1oz OJ
1oz Lemon juice
1/2oz Brandy
1/2oz orgeat syrup
1/2 cup crushed ice
Top Layer
1oz Gold Rum
1oz grenadine
1 cup crushed ice
Toss all the ingredients for the bottom layer in the blender and pulse 3-4 times, it should still be lumpy, do not make smooth. Pour into fancy cocktail glass, one with a round bottom and a large mouth. Then toss all the ingredients for the top layer in the blender and let it go for a good 20 seconds. Pour gently over bottom layer. You should have a good yellow layer with a red layer on top. Its like a sweet and sour. Delicous!.

77 Pumpkin gets her relaxation on

Pumpkin is having panic attacks and needs some serious relaxation. Luckily Sunshine has been seeing a stress therapist and can teach some newly learned techniques for reducing stress. Lets not forget we start the show with a great new cocktail right out of Sunshines head. A delicious concoction of pink grapefruit juice and various forms of Booze. Its a must try. The show wouldn't be complete without Pumpkin bitching about her lack of holiday spirit during our warm spell here in Southern California in December.
