75 Trees of Spunk! I'll drink to that!

Perhaps you feel that speaking of bodily fluids is dirty. Maybe you don't like to discuss anything "private." Well Pumpkin really doesn't seem to care. Armed with a hot booze concoction she takes us down a very dark and scary path, all about trees that smell of man mustard. Yuck! Sunshine keeps things a little lighter. We bring you a new band this week called Cal Tjader, some good tribal lounge at its best. Be sure to check out their website and buy some of their music if you enjoy it.

Click HERE to visit the Cal Tjader website. A great resource for anyone who wants to know about Cal Tjader or buy and listen to an album.

Drink of the Week
Hot Apple
1/2 cup 100 proof Cinnamon Schnapps
1/3 cup Dark Rum
4 cups apple juice
3 cinnamon sticks

74 Halloween is for Shenanigans

Sunshine and Pumpkin get their Halloween on with a delicious and potent holiday cocktail this week. You can drink this one hot or cold, whatever makes you happy. Sunshine gives it to you both ways. Pumpkin brings us a look into the world of themed clothing for witches and a few thoughts about nothing in particular. And we couldn't let you go without a few tips on planning a great party for the most wicked holiday of the year.

Drink of the Week
Festered Wound
1 oz Dark Rum
1oz Silver Rum
1 oz sweet and sour
3 oz OJ mulled with cloves
Put everything in a shaker with 1 1/2 cup crushed ice, shake till its scary, you want froth. Pour into a large collins glass and add a dash of pumpkin pie spice to the foam on top. For the mulled OJ, put 4 cups OJ in a saucepan, add 2 tsp of whole cloves and bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer for 30 min. Remove cloves and chill. You can also serve this same drink hot, put everything but the booze in a crock pot set on low. Put the shots of rum into the serving glass just before you add the hot punch mixture. Warms the spirits on a fall evening.

73 Popcorn, the unknown killer

Fall is here, and so is the shenanigans. Halloween is the official holiday of shenanigans, so we would like to give you a few ideas in the next few shows. You can throw a small all hallows eve shindig. Maybe a bloody cocktail party? Regardless, Sunshine and Pumpkin have plenty to talk about. Sunshine goes on and on about his new house and Pumpkin gives the dish on the crappy new TV shows for fall. So get ready to relax with our tantalizing tropical cocktail. Oh yeah, one last thing. Be sure to check out the new album from the Aquamarines. Some great tunes for chillin in any lounge or poolside.

71 Some drinks look better than they taste

Lets face it, not all drinks are good drinks. The Coconut Willie from the Coco Palms on Kuaui is not exactly our favorite. Though you may want to try this one for the unusual gin flavor just to see for yourself. The gin sends Pumpkin on a tiff against the elderly and Jesus. Speaking of Jesus, there is no info that shows that he may have been a little bit closer to Judas than history would have us believe. Sunshine relives a bit of high school memories with his thoughts on the original Star Trek and specifically Mr. Spocks brain. Check out some Star Trek ASAP.

1 tsp Coconut snow

70 Gin makes a nutty Pumpkin

This is week two of our Gin drinks. The Kamaaina should be pronounced Kah-ah-mah-A-nuh. Pumpkin says it a little different but thats most likely because booze makes her mind go a little on the dirty side. After we get the drink going it only gets less professional from there. We welcome lots of great new listeners from myspace and read an email or two. Remember, this is tell a friend about the show month. Get out there and send a few emails to your friends, tell them how much you enjoy the podcast. We just want everyone to love us as much as we love doing this show.
