73 Popcorn, the unknown killer

Fall is here, and so is the shenanigans. Halloween is the official holiday of shenanigans, so we would like to give you a few ideas in the next few shows. You can throw a small all hallows eve shindig. Maybe a bloody cocktail party? Regardless, Sunshine and Pumpkin have plenty to talk about. Sunshine goes on and on about his new house and Pumpkin gives the dish on the crappy new TV shows for fall. So get ready to relax with our tantalizing tropical cocktail. Oh yeah, one last thing. Be sure to check out the new album from the Aquamarines. Some great tunes for chillin in any lounge or poolside.

71 Some drinks look better than they taste

Lets face it, not all drinks are good drinks. The Coconut Willie from the Coco Palms on Kuaui is not exactly our favorite. Though you may want to try this one for the unusual gin flavor just to see for yourself. The gin sends Pumpkin on a tiff against the elderly and Jesus. Speaking of Jesus, there is no info that shows that he may have been a little bit closer to Judas than history would have us believe. Sunshine relives a bit of high school memories with his thoughts on the original Star Trek and specifically Mr. Spocks brain. Check out some Star Trek ASAP.

Coconut Willie

Put everything in a blender with 1 1/2 cups ice, blend for a full 30 seconds. Should be very frothy. Garnish with a lime wedge and squeeze over drink just before enjoying.

70 Gin makes a nutty Pumpkin

This is week two of our Gin drinks. The Kamaaina should be pronounced Kah-ah-mah-A-nuh. Pumpkin says it a little different but thats most likely because booze makes her mind go a little on the dirty side. After we get the drink going it only gets less professional from there. We welcome lots of great new listeners from myspace and read an email or two. Remember, this is tell a friend about the show month. Get out there and send a few emails to your friends, tell them how much you enjoy the podcast. We just want everyone to love us as much as we love doing this show.

68 Tennessee to Brazil in just an hour

Sunshine and Pumpkin are back from Tennessee with a few tales to tell. No shortage of southern influenced shenanigans this episode. Take a listen to some of our snips from our new recorder that Sunshine actually remembered to bring along on the trip. As if the south wasn't enough we head much farther south for our cocktail this week. Listener Barret suggested we try a Caipirnha, a classic cocktail from Brazil made with cachaca, pronounce that last "C" as an "S" you you'll get it. Let this be a lesson to all of our listeners, you send us a suggestion and you got a 50/50 shot of using it on the show. Sit back and relax, we'll take it from there.

67 Ernest Hemmingway and the Daiquiri Floridita

Wow, what a Summer this has been. Both Sunshine and Pumpkin have been traveling and making the most of our time away from the horrors of working the grind. Our drink this week takes us to yet another exotic location, Havana and Key West, Florida. The weather is nice to. Good old Hernest Hemingway was quite possibly the biggest fan of the daiquiri. This man drank 10,000 cocktails in his time and we salute his memory. This is our first show in a few weeks so we pack in as much shenanigans and vacation stories as possible. Drop in the Lounge for a great alcoholic treat and the usual banter .
