1 ounce Rhum Clement Mahina Coco
.75 ounce Plantation Dark Overproof Rum
1 tsp Absinthe, Pernod or Anisette
.5 ounce Cruzan Blackstrap Rum (float)
2.5 ounces Coconut Pineapple juice or nectar (no sugar added)
.5 ounce Vanilla Syrup (homemade for best results)
Combine all ingredients except blackstrap rum in a mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir until well mixed. Strain into tiki mug filled with crushed ice, pour blackstrap rum on top and garnish with a single star anise. Please note: shaking this drink with ice is not recommended. The thick coconut/pineapple nectar may turn into slush and prevent pouring. Stir, don't shake.
