2 oz Deadhead Rum
1.5 oz Cranberry Juice (make sure "cranberries" is the first ingredient and no added sugar)
1 oz Pineapple Juice (not from concentrate, Dole canned is great, Trader Joes is even better)
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Spiced Brown Sugar syrup*
Shake all ingredients with cubed ice. Strain into a small Brandy snifter. Garnish with pineapple and drunken dried cranberries.
*Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup: In a large saucepan, combine 2 cups water with 3 cinnamon sticks and 10 whole cloves. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes covered. Remove lid, add 2 cups light brown sugar and stir till dissolved. Bring back to a simmer and stir for 5 minutes. Cover and cool. Strain out spices and store in a glass container.
