146 Better than Pineapple Upside Down Cake

What a special show we have for your this week.  Sunshine and Pumpkin are giddy with excitement over our new favorite drink.  If you are looking for that perfect cocktail to impress your friends and family this holiday season....It's the Pineapple Upside Down Cocktail.  Sure, it takes a little fuss to mix one up but you won't be sorry.  Pumpkin gives us her second installment of home cures with a zen twist.  Now you know that olive oil is for your butt and honey is for the mouth and nipples.  Sunshine takes us back to childhood with a tiki version of Mad Libs, that wacky fill in the blanks game we used to play as kids.  Other rants include stupid people that shop at Wal-Mart, Snuggies hit the New York fashion scene and a very special phone in conversation with Ronnie, our man on the street.  Ronnie calls in to give us a quick run down of Ohana Luau at the Lake in New York. Make a Pineapple Upside Down Cocktail:

Make the syrup first and set aside: 3/4 cup brown sugar 4 tablespoon butter 3 tablespoon water Put everything in a small sauce pot, melt down sugar and butter stirring constantly. As the mixture starts to heat it will bubble/boil. Continue to stir while it bubbles for at least 5 minutes so that all the sugar dissolves. Pour into a glass measuring cup for later. Syrup can be warmed again in the microwave if it gets to thick. Pineapple Upside Down Cocktail: 3oz pineapple juice 1 tablespoon of brown sugar syrup 1oz Cruzan Vanilla Rum 1oz Cruzan Pineapple Rum 1/2oz Tuaca (Italian Liquer) 1/4oz Cherry Pucker Schnapps After the sugar syrup cools, use 1 tablespoon to drizzle the inside of an irish coffee mug or any other clear glass. In a sauce pan, heat up pineapple juice, rums, and tuaca. Do not let it boil, should not be any hotter than a cup of coffee. Pour into mug. Carefully pour cherry pucker into the center of the drink, it will go straight to the bottom. The warm mixture will start to dislove the drizzled syrup quickly so serve immediately. It is easy to make 4, 5 or 6 of these at a time. Drizzle all the glasses ahead, and multiply the recipe so you can warm it all up at the same time.

Garnish with a cherry and a pineapple cube Enjoy!!!
