Great cocktails are certainly not a modern invention. Here is an online library of some fabulous vintage cocktail recipe books that should keep you busy for months. The EUVS Vintage Cocktail Books Library is a catalog of free books from the late 1800's through about the 1930's. We found that some of these have great tongue in cheek humor as well as drink recipes from two earlier centuries. You will also find an array of appetizer ideas and mention of ingredients that may be extinct. A little urban archeology may be required to recreate some of these recipes. Fun!
