Scurvy Killer

It hardly needs to be said that some tiki drinks have more ingredients than the average home bar is ready for.  Keeping just a few things on hand is essential to whipping up tasty libations for your evening cocktail or impromptu gatherings.  Try the Scurvy Killer when you want to impress in a jiffy.  Packed with fresh citrus, a touch of spice and a healthy dose of dark aged rum.  We recommend this drink for Summer evenings or anytime it feels like Fall outside.

Scurvy Killer

2 ounces aged Rum with strong Vanilla notes (Zaya, Deadhead or Sailor Jerry)

2 ounces fresh squeezed Orange Juice

1 ounce fresh squeezed Lime Juice

.5 ounce Cinnamon syrup (make your own, use our easy recipe), readily available in the coffee aisle

1 dash Orange bitters (Regans is recommended) optional

Shake all ingredients lightly with ice and pour into tiki mug filled with ice.  Garnish with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
