Alooooooha Listners! This weeks podcast is mostly an open forum for those who asked questions, tweeted and took a few moments to fill out our listener survey. The results are a little all over the place, but still make for good conversation. But for starters, its a new cocktail and some surf exotica. Aqua Velvets, The Revomatics, Cosmonauti and Clousseaux just to name a few. Our zen inspiration this week comes from very ordinary people who blog their thoughts online. It isn’t hard to simply search for words like “10 minutes of zen,” or “finding your inner zen,” to get plenty of things to read or do. Sunshine and Starshine simply advise that making a commitment to do something for yourself that makes you feel good, does good and hopefully benefits others in the long run. So you’ve had a drink, heard some great tunes and found your inner zen. Finally! The Zen Tiki Lounge does our first video chat LIVE! Mahalo to those of you that joined us and helped make our “first time” a memorable experience. For those of you who aren’t on Google+ yet, well maybe you have a reason to get moving on that. We will do more live chats later on. The audio podcast this week starts off with one of Sunshines new cocktails that is yet to be named. This stiff and fruity libation will be served at Tiki Oasis 11 in August. Damiana liquor adds a very unique herbal note while citrus and passion fruit keep things tropical and tiki. After a drink and some music we are ready for conversation. We congratulate the Japanese women’s soccer team for winning the world cup. Sunshine regals a tale of his dental visit that involved inappropriate head to crotch rubbing. Kalani expresses her concern for saving the Manatees. Starshine tells all about her desire to kill every last ant on Earth. And don’t you worry. We enjoy “Ginger and Mary Ann” while the ladies tell tales of menstrual cycles synchronizing and Pop Tart blasphemy.
