Sunshine and Pumpkin remember the family vacations of past Summers. Pumpkin has a far different view on the old family vacation, hotels not camping. Sunshine ruffed it with a tent and home made camper complet with porta potty. You need to listen just to hear about “hobo stew,” quite possibly the best in camp cooking. And don’t forget the best reaons for stopping by the lounge, a new cocktail every week.

Drink of the Week
Voyant Chai Liqueur
2oz Voyant Chai Liqueur
6oz Coffee or Hot Cocoa
Just stir and add some whip cream.

ZTL #37 – Halloween Deux

Sunshine tells how to plan a great Halloween party and keep it real. Try lots of black light, plenty of spider web, good old fashioned dry ice and some tasty bits and pieces. Make sure to tell your guests its a costume party, strongly recommend costumes. Last but not least you will need to make some themed cocktails.

Drink of the Week
Yellow Tang
1.5oz Raspberry Rum
1oz Citrus Vodka
Add V8 Mango and stir. Yummmy!

ZTL #36 – Halloween is not supposed to be cute! Lets drink!

What the hell is wrong with people? Seriously, do we need to decorate our yards for Halloween? Should it look like Snoopy and friends blew up on my neighbors yard? No! Halloween is supposed to be scary and surprising. Can you tell Sunshine is sensitive to this subject? You will get Sunshines point of view on a true Halloween.

Drink of the Week
Hot Scotch
1.5oz Butterscotch Schnapps
6-8oz Hot Chocolate
Add Schnapps to hot cocoa and stir. Yummmy!

ZTL #35 – Rehab is better than christian sex college!

After a tough week at work Pumpkin gets a little tossed. No worries, it’s all in the job here at the Zen Tiki Lounge. We do it for the listeners. Anywho, Pumpkin signs up for Christian Sex College in the hope to find true spiritual engorgement. Then she tells of her new discovery called Xtube. If that isn’t enough already, Sunshine is off the wagon and on the bottle. It was just going to be one drink. Then two. And three. Now it’s old times again. Two sauced companions talking trash on everyone and everything.

1.5oz Raspberry Rum
1oz Grand Marnier
4oz fresh squeezed OJ
Combine juice, Grand Marnier, rum in glass with ice, stir, then stir again. Pour one for you and one for a friend.
